Gardeners
Multiple Positions Available
We provide our employees with comprehensive initial training plus and ongoing support and training to improve skills. We also offer above award wages paid weekly, plus superannuation and uniforms.
Playford Garden Care also provides our employees with bonuses and incentives towards ongoing study, and opportunities to advance within the business are encouraged.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Drivers licence and ability to drive a manual vehicle towing a trailer.
- Eligible to obtain a National Police clearance and relevant clearances with Screening SA for working with children and vulnerable adults.
- Able to work autonomously and effectively in a team environment.
- Customer service skills and ability to provide advice and assistance to clients as required.
These positions require multiple maintenance gardening-based skills including mowing, edging, slashing, hedge and shrub trimming, pruning and pole hedge trimmer and chainsaw use.
We prefer applicants that have qualifications and tickets and a proven work history working as a maintenance gardener or in the landscaping field.
Remuneration is based on the Federal Award which stipulates different levels of payments for employees with different skill sets, qualifications, and competencies.
The award for field employees is the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award 2020 MA000101 and can be viewed at www.fairwork.gov.au
Playford Garden Care provides additional payments and bonuses to employees above this award.
Contractor Positions
Currently no positions available
We offer our specially experienced and qualified contractors a true team environment to work in. This includes backup in the field with our assets and employees. Paid initial and ongoing training is also provided and covers workplace health and safety, and all operational matters through remote learning and group environments.
We offer prompt payment terms and seek to build a solid rapport with our contractors with a view towards an ongoing working relationship on mutually beneficial terms.

Playford Garden Care is an established privately owned Gardening and Landscaping services business based in the City of Playford. We service the Northern Suburbs in the cities of Playford and Salisbury, through to the town of Gawler and surrounds, plus the North Eastern and inner Northern Suburbs of Adelaide.
We pride ourselves on working with our clients to provide prompt, high quality and personalised gardening and landscaping services.
Our work includes domestic, commercial and government contracts.

To support our field-based crews, we also offer employment and ongoing work for independent contractors in areas ranging from business support functions through to various licensed trades for necessary works that are incidental to our core business operations.

Team up with Playford Garden Care
We welcome expressions of interest from Gardening and Landscaping service businesses that share a common outlook to us to team up with us on larger projects and speciality services.
Playford Garden Care can also provide dry hire and operator and equipment hire of our specialist assets to businesses that team up with us.
We have our own vehicle and equipment maintenance facilities to reduce down-time and we can perform third party work at below market costs for businesses that team up with us.
